These clips make love and hate. As the saying goes, you can never have enough clamps. So when I needed a few more I decided to try these because I respect the quality of Jorgensen tools. generous, and the grip coverage is excellent. The build quality is what you would expect from their products. The absolute best part of the clamp is the reversible end jaw, which is a brilliant idea. A push of a large, easy-to-access button releases the entire end of the clip so you can flip it over to make an extension, or flip it over so you can use the dovetail socket to hook another clip to make it a longer one clip. I love it and think it's an inspiration for industrial design. Every terminal should have this function! The Bad Side: The trigger is a small piece of plastic hidden between the grip and the trigger. This is unlike most other clamps and has an odd position. A "clamp culture" has developed and most of us are instinctively drawn to a release in a certain position, but it's just not there. It's like getting into a car and the position of the accelerator and brake pedals is different than what you're used to. You can customize, but it's clumsy and illogical. I don't understand why they did it, and I can't understand why they did it any differently than the brackets of the rest of the world. To top it off, the trigger material feels fragile. While I have great confidence in Jorgensen's quality control, I am suspicious of this trigger. The time will show. Conclusion: I'm glad I bought them, I use them all the time and they've been excellent so far. But I'm hesitant to buy another set because this damn trigger just drives me nuts and when I'm in a quick glue scenario they slow me down. If Jorgensen ever changes that trigger position to compare it to the rest of the world's speed clamps, they have a clear winner.
