A great way to replace an old fuel filter. Figuring out which rings to use is easy. But depending on your actual location, trust me replacing it can be a daunting task, at least on my 01 Mercruiser Alpha 1 in a very tight spot and upside down from what I could see. But in the end I got it. And believe me, if you're having trouble idling, especially when the engine is cold, your fuel filter is probably dead! Mine looked like original, almost clogged and brittle.
