Review on Get Max 300PSI With ReelWorks Retractable Air Hose Reel Featuring Hybrid Polymer Hose And Polypropylene Drum! by Josh Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good Reel - but was I shipped a returned item?

In doing some research this reel had everything I was looking for; competitive price, compact foot print, light weight and 50' of polymer hose (although the jury is still out on the reliability of the bundled hose). I read that some of the larger reels within the same price point came with rubber hoses that quickly deteriorate. I do like the reel and still have had no issues with leaks so far. I would give it 5 stars but I'm not fully convinced that I received a brand new unit. Upon arrival it was missing the dust cap on the inlet (plastic yellow cover for inlet as pictured on the stock photo) Also, there was signs of a previous install, bits of Teflon tape on the female inlet thread. Some of the plastic parts were scuffed in places, maybe during manufacturing?. Another thing I noticed, was that the spring assembly (drum side) was rather noisy, it does not affect operation and could be by design, but I was surprised at the amount of noise it made.Updating my original review to 5 stars. I was contacted by the seller, and the issues stated above have been resolved. Buy with confidence.

Pros
  • Great unit for the price.
Cons
  • The hose reel is not compatible with all types of air compressors
