Trust me you can do it!

I am so thankful that they are available online, especially on Amazon. The alarm in my aerobic septic system went off last week and I was concerned. I called the company I have a contract with to determine the cause of the alarm. Within five minutes I was informed that the problem was with my septic air pump and was offered $575 to replace it. It didn't suit me. I did a little research and found that my septic air pump could be repaired with this simple kit and some common household tools. YouTube has how-to videos and step-by-step guides with photos that walk you through the entire process of publishing online. I'm a very careful person and I take my time; It took about 30 minutes to swap out old parts and install new ones. Make sure you do your research and have all the tools you need before heading out and fixing the air pump. This saves you some trouble. My research has shown that the membranes in these systems wear out faster in the southern states, where heat puts a lot of stress on the material they're made of. Also, a septic air pump can usually be rebuilt about twice. I've read that they can last five to seven years, but I've also read that some people need to change their bezel for a year or two. I just wanted to share these data points with all of you. My newly renovated septic tank air pump works great and the best part is I saved myself $500 and a lot of fuss. If you have any doubts, don't worry, you can do it.
