Bought on the recommendation of a youtuber when I was repairing rear wheel bearings on my Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner 07. I was disappointed. I've bought at least 3 different snap ring pliers in the past and none of them met the specs including this one! I have yet to see a product that can actually work with Japanese made snap rings, as all DIYers here in America know, it's always PITA to get one! This can lift the locking ring out of the socket but not completely because the moment you push to lift the locking ring it will rotate and fall back into the socket or slip off. You end up wasting more time. Eventually you will need a Philips flathead screwdriver to pry it out. I am sorry. Just because it looks good on the outside doesn't mean it works well!
