After Hurricane Harvey I decided I needed a water transfer pump. I used to borrow one to drain our waterbed. This would have come in handy when our pool's motor failed during a hurricane and I was concerned that the gravity drain wouldn't be able to keep up with the rain. It's not submersible, but I could protect it. When it arrived I checked it before putting it away for a rainy day. The case is made of durable chrome-plated bronze. Engine power is enough to remove water, but there is no way to externally determine the inflow. It's not labeled and the circuit is useless. So of course I chose the wrong one for the first test. Now it is marked with a pen. Despite this small complaint I would buy it again.
