I bought these to build a motocross bike, they are easy to install and look great. They work well with Shimano Ultegra levers. They seem to stop just as well as any Cantis I've ridden before. That's not as good as a good set of calipers. The levers can be adjusted from wide to narrow. They may have more stopping power in a wide configuration, but I haven't tried them extensively. They were on some pro bikes a few years ago so I figured they must be pretty good. I'm giving four stars because they're pretty damn good but not perfect.
