Review on πŸ“ 1-Inch Curtain Rod with Round Finials - 1-Pack, Adjustable 36 to 72 Inch Length, Nickel Finish by Christopher Scales

Great strong rods but brackets could be designed for easier installation

All parts (rods, brackets, tips) are solid and well made. My only exception is parentheses. The top hole in the bracket is in line with the hinges that the bars sit on. A straight positioning of the drill is not possible. Even a screwdriver cannot be placed perpendicular to the wall. So you either need to have a 90 degree drill bit to set the top screw or install it at an upward angle. This could easily be corrected if the part of the bracket that lays flat against the wall was a bit longer and the holes were lower. Good pressure is required when installing in a log wall and it would be easier if you could drill straight. I don't know how this affects drywall installation with plastic anchors. Also, this size includes 6 rods (3 front, 3 rear) measuring about 50 inches in length. If you need to use them for windows less than 100 inches wide, only use 2, which means almost half of the curtain hangs on the smaller rod. For installations over 100 inches, insert the smaller pole into both wider poles to increase length. My curtains aren't very heavy so that's not a problem, but we'll probably trim the wider rods to shorter ones so we have a stronger rod overall. (Our curtain width is 84 inches.) Overall nice material and value for money.
