First, the light cage is different than what is advertised. (No big deal) The cord and lightweight socks are well made and durable. The lightweight cage is thin, but that's not a problem. You can use CFL bulbs and there is a two pin connector at the end. Be sure to buy some hooks to hang the lights and zip ties. I love this light set. This is exactly what I was looking for to dress up our 2 1/2 car garage. I do a lot of auto repairs and body work so good lighting is very important. Properly positioned, these lights will provide adequate illumination of your work area. I use a combination of six 75 watt and four 100 watt CFL daylight bulbs. (In total, they only use 203 watts). Our entire garage is now lighted and costs less than $100. Can't beat it
