Overall this is a pretty good set of allen keys. It covers all reasonable sizes and the holder is very handy and doubles as a handle for Allen wrench tools. Most allen wrenches I use are black steel but they are chrome moly and I'm not sure if that's the best material or not. I've used them to assemble furniture and they worked pretty well. , but compared to the black steel style, they dangled a bit in the grooves. Nothing has been ripped off and I haven't had any issues, but my confidence wasn't 100%. Some positives, they're a lot longer than a typical allen wrench, which is a good thing - they're more comfortable to use and go in places a shorter wrench can't, plus you get more turns and less effort. I think there is a compromise here. I'm not sure if the material is the best, but the packaging and case and the fact that you can use it as a pen is very, well, "convenient". I worry too much about the material, but I have a nagging feeling that the alloy they used may not be perfect. I hope I'm wrong, but it's my job to see them the way I see them, and something about that bothers me. So I share this with you. The general facts are they worked really well for me, they didn't come loose and they matched the screws which I used pretty well. I felt the black steel hex keys were a little tighter. But there was no major problem. The price is fair and I think I would recommend them to a friend or family member but first I would tell them all of the above so they can decide for themselves. And let's face it, this isn't a big ticket purchase, so if it doesn't last long, it won't be the end of the world. Also, you usually get a set of these that you can't keep track of, since everything you buy now comes with a pair of them. But if you want a well-organized, reasonably complete set that's easy to carry and handle. - that's all! I hope this review is helpful to you.
