Good idea but too fragile for practical use
These things are a good idea but the plastic used is too brittle. The takedown mount was used on my serpentine strap with moderate success, but the mount for the same strap broke in half on first use. The shape on them looks correct, the problem is only in the material. I would choose a metal one.
