FYI: Technically requires soldering. Since I didn't have solder, I instead ripped off a small piece of the positive wire (barely the length of a small nail) and wrapped that bare wire around the exposed positive end of the new wire, using pliers to make sure it was secure. then wrapped it tight, that's the connection with black electrical tape (I cut it to thumb length). I connected the negative, reassembled the T circuit, hooked it up to see if it worked and it cut off as usual. I can solder later, but for now this is a workaround. But something to note. As well as learning how to install this is a great product, durable and I love that it is actually longer than my original cord. I will definitely buy a cable from this seller again.
