It Works; Don't move too fast when removing the old wire to get a really good look at where the wire connections are and where the switch isn't. Otherwise: You spend an hour trying to determine the exact position of the metal plate that turns the clipper on and off.

This was the perfect replacement for the Andis clippers I had when the cord finally wore out. So either replace the $80 clipper or buy the $10 cable. I like my solution.

FYI: Technically requires soldering. Since I didn't have solder, I instead ripped off a small piece of the positive wire (barely the length of a small nail) and wrapped that bare wire around the exposed positive end of the new wire, using pliers to make sure it was secure. then wrapped it tight, that's the connection with black electrical tape (I cut it to thumb length). I connected the negative, reassembled the T circuit, hooked it up to see if it worked and it cut off as usual. I can solder…
