Review on πŸ”© SNUG Fasteners SNG210 Stainless Steel Screws by Young Toulson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They are alright. Best left for softer woods.

Out of 100 boxes I had about 6 breaks in my project requiring holes to be filled. Then I had to try again at another location nearby. I had about a dozen heads that deformed and the bit popped out tearing out the material in the process. The screws were not the same color at all. This indicated poor curing or the material used to make the screws. If you decide to take one out right after inserting it, it will pop out like a corkscrew as it deforms from the heat. The self-drilling section works very well and made a good impression. It's important to note that I used them to attach OSB to weathered Douglas fir in an outdoor project. Also, I've had far fewer failures when I switched to a different brand of stainless steel bolts. I'm sure these screws would be good for softer woods. These aren't bad screws, just not what I need for my particular project.
