I received these spoons yesterday and just had to twist them and here is my opinion. The actual capacity of the spoons is quite large, so you don't have to spend half an hour eating a bowl of soup, and it's perfect for chili and lentils. They don't get hot like a metal spoon, which is good, and their flat bottom design means you can pop the spoon back into the bowl while leaning on the hook. at the tip of the handle to keep the bait from "slipping" under the water, or vice versa, you can flip the bait and hook the reverse hook. Both methods work great. I also found that they can be used to store diced onions, garlic, capers etc that you will use in cooking. In my case I was making mayonnaise and needed to hold a large yolk and the spoon worked great. Heck, if they're not paintable, they can come in handy as paint holes for small touch-ups. The handles are a bit short for someone like me with big hands, but still very comfortable. If you suffer from hand neuropathy, these spoons will likely serve you well. I highly recommend them, especially at this price point.
