I was quite impressed with this purchase. First, they come with two different pieces, so you can very the height based on your use case quite a bit. I am only using the single piece - I have them low, facing up at a screen.Second, the solar panels are solidly connected to the rest of the light. Often this is a critical point of failure - flimsy connections that will never last. But that is not the case with these lights.Third - the button construction seems solid - this is where I was most worried about the quality, but they work as expected and provide a solid "click" so you know you've successfully changed the setting as requested.Finally, the medium setting is quite bright - probably what 99% of people would use. The high setting is bright, but they will die quickly at that setting.For the price, these are probably some of the best quality solar lights I have ever bought. We will see how they last longevity wise, but as of now, definitely recommended, especially if you cannot afford / don't want to deal with a hardwired outdoor setup.
