This is a baking tool I didn't know I needed and now I can't stop using it. i love to bake Cakes, cookies, bread, muffins, muffins, whatever. And I love experimenting and seeing what different mixes work well together. When making cupcakes, I usually experiment with the batter (add chocolate chips, sprinkle with cinnamon, etc.). I once tried using a butter knife and teaspoon to cut out the center of the cake and fill it, but it was uneven and crumbly and I wasn't that impressed and never tried again. This is for making cinnamon cupcakes with cinnamon filling, topped with cinnamon and brown sugar buttercream frosting. This little tool worked great! in the middle the spoon turned out to be the perfect size, the middle part came out easily. Later I experimented with making a hole in the bottom of the cake. It worked great. I made sure the cinnamon filling was a bit thicker and firmer before flipping it right side up again. Then I cut out the top and fill it with glaze. The perfect combination! Tip - Make sure the core is dry when using to prevent the cake from sticking or falling out. Also, make sure the cupcakes are completely cool for a quick clean spoon.
