A lot of the accessories in the set are related to knitting, rather than crochet - needle tip protectors, stitch holders, cable needles. The scissors are not much good, it took several tries to cut the cotton yarn I was using. The crochet hooks are much more comfortable to hold than regular hooks. At first I thought they were terrible. I was using a cotton yarn and 3.5mm hook, and the new ergonomic hook seemed really sticky. The yarn would not slide on it at all, and it slowed me way down. It even squeaked. However, I rubbed it hard with a bit of cloth, and the stickiness went away, and then my speed picked up. So I am pretty satisfied with this set and it certainly is more comfortable to hold. The handle also keeps the hook from turning in my hand, so it is always in the right position for hooking the thread and pulling it through - which makes my speed better. I'm pleased, overall. 4 stars because of the knitting accessories.
