Review on KYY 4K Portable Monitor 3840X2160 Computer 15.6", Blue Light Filter, Built-In Speakers, Tilt Adjustment, K3-3, HD by Ari Sahadewo

When I first unboxed it I was really impressed - it looks like cutting edge technology, well built, looks like a really good portable monitor. It has all the features you need and it looked like a great product. When I first connected it to my 2018 MacBook Pro I was disappointed - I thought it was broken because the display was unstable - the image appeared and disappeared constantly, about a couple of times a second. I was wondering if this is because my laptop can't drive multiple external displays (I had another 4K monitor connected). Turns out it was because I had the AC adapter plugged in, once I unplugged it and just plugged this monitor into my laptop everything was fine. Nearly. At first everything seemed fine. but then i noticed that the color wasn't quite right, the white of the browser window was much more yellow than on my laptop or another external monitor. I played with blue settings, but it was already maxed out. Also, it wasn't as bright as I expected. I increased the default brightness by 50% and that worked. I came back later to try cranking the brightness all the way up, but at that point I couldn't change any of the picture settings - I don't know why, I could still use the dial to change all the other settings. keep monitor. except blink. It flashes every now and then. Like a flicker. Not often, but enough for me to notice, enough for me to give back. Other Notes: The image got noticeably sharper and sharper after I lifted the clear plastic cover over it. It was pretty good with a protective case so I'm not sure I would have taken it off had I kept it. slips past the bars after use. The inputs are on one side, the controls on the other, so you can't use this vertically without making a stand.
