Kingslim 4K DVR

I tested this DVR in the toughest conditions in Arizona and in the month of May. I like to film my drives through the countryside with my jeep. 4K video makes it very clear. I usually run it through an editor and adjust color, contrast and maybe saturation as needed, but when all is needed it's minimal. Because the Jeep gets so dirty, I haven't installed a rear view camera yet. On my first day of adventures with this DVR, there were over 90 outside and over 100 in the cabin of this old non-AC Jeep. I've found that the dash cam gets quite warm when I start the active display, as does the power connector plug. It's also important to use the plug and cable that comes with the dash cam and not another brand even if it works for a while as there is an internal switch that resets to protect itself . I had a smaller 1080p dash in the Jeep so I decided to use the cable for the newer one. It was a mistake, so I'm sharing it here so others can learn from it. It didn't break anything but the camera kept restarting after getting too hot until I reconnected the included cable/plug. I've also learned to turn off the display when working in hot conditions. I was driving the jeep over very rough and rocky terrain which caused the jeep and dashcam to bounce around a bit, but the camera was out of phase. The internal stabilization worked well to smooth out the video. I definitely recommend these Kingslim dash cams and have already recommended them to my Jeep friends. The front camera and display is very easy to install on your existing mirror, while the rear will require a little more time and cable routing depending on the vehicle.
