I love the com bike mount for my Garmin Edge Explore, but the adhesive universal phone adapter doesn't hold up. I tried three in two months and they all used different "flat" back cases for my iPhone X. Today my phone fell off the sticky back while driving over a wooden bridge on a train path. The vibration was too strong, my iPhone hit the ground at 32 km/h. Without my LifeProof case, my phone would have broken. The LifeProof case is slightly dented. I blame this mountain. The other two Kom adhesive mounts I've used fell off when I wasn't riding, just faintly. The plate itself is great. I would recommend skipping the glue and adding silicone rubber to this com board. Also, this mount negates wireless charging, so my recommendation of adding silicone rubber to this mount would be better. I'd like to test it when it's created.
