Excellent product

In 2012 I had surgery on both my legs. I am diabetic and had a dead big toe on my right foot and an open ulcer on my left foot since 2004. I'm dying of a progressive infection in my toe. After the operation, I was fitted with not one, but two Ortho Healing Wedges. It took me a while to get used to it, but I was soon able to pull off this balancing act. The wedge forces the wearer to apply pressure to the heel of the foot rather than the toes and ball of the foot. Leg. I was able to stop wearing the wedge on my right foot but had to keep the wedge on my left foot. What now? The wedge is higher than an average boot. I was able to overcome this difference in height by wearing Herman Survivor work boots on my right foot. I've worn wedges for many years. In fact, this is my second time ordering from this company. The cost of placing through Revain is much less than my co-payment if I get it through medical care or at my doctor's office. The wedge lasts about 2 years for me. No, I'm not healed yet. But the most important thing is that the ulcer has shrunk and has not worsened. The pressure on the foot is reduced to a minimum, which was our goal. My insurance won't pay for a transplant that will ever cure me. I can now support my foot with the Darco Orthopedic Healing Wedge. If you have a foot ulcer I highly recommend this. The service is better than promised and the price is great.
