Review on MOOG 512280 Wheel Bearing Assembly by Brady Shayotovich

Perfect fit for 2005 Sienna 2WD

My 2005 Sienna 2WD had multiple gauges (Tire Pressure, ABS, VSC, TRAC OFF, Parking Brake). I tried disconnecting the battery post to turn off the light but to no avail. Went to Autozone to read codes C0215 and C1223 which indicate a problem with the left rear speed sensor circuit. After the arrival of this wheel bearing and MOOG hub, without removing the old hub from the car, I simply replaced the speed sensor connector from the original hub assembly with the new MOOG and then started the car to see if the new sensor would actually solve the dashboard problems. Problem. To remove the hub, I used a Harbor Freight 1/2" deep x 14mm socket (P/N 67873) with a Harbor Freight extension (P/N 67972). Because the car was rusty, the hub stuck to the brake flap. I put two 1/4" x 6" bolts in two opposite holes on the hub mounting plate (no need to cut the bolts). Each bolt was mated with two layers of 1/2" washers and a 1/2" nut. Bolts, washers, and nuts were purchased from Home Depot. I used a 1/2" open end wrench to hold the nut while alternately tightening the two bolts. Installing the new hub was easy after brushing off the rust around the hole that the new hub sits in with a steel brush became.
