Review on Hasbro The Mr Toast Game by Jason Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Entertainment for children and adults.

Irresponsibility gets 5 stars. Mr. Toast only gets 4 because the rules have changed. Easy to fix. I suggest using the original instructions and playing the game as the creator intended. There are a few typos. (It states that both a green and a purple card must be laid out in front of a player before the player can give him a red job card. This is incorrect. It is sufficient for the player to play the green card for other players to be able to happen. This is routine work. This is correctly represented in the Hasbro instructions, but misspelled). Besides the rules, they made the blue cards purple (friend cards) and the gray cards are now blue (action cards). These changes will not affect the game. They also now say "whoever ate the last toast goes first", with the initial state of the game drawing the highest value card (or rolling the dice). Again, it has no effect on gameplay. This is entertainment for children and adults. I highly recommend it. I just wish Hasbro didn't feel the need to change that. (And add a game-changing typo).
