Review on Tera HW0002: Fully Upgraded Wireless 2D QR Barcode Scanner - Bluetooth, 2.4GHz Wireless, USB Wired - Stand Included - Connects to Smart Phones, Tablets, PCs - Image Bar Code Reader by Michael Zambrano

It scans 1D and 2D barcodes that are freshly printed on a piece of paper and in perfect condition. I'm trying to scan serial numbers from 2D barcodes on the bottom of laptops. I was trying to save money with this scanner instead of buying a real Symbol/Zebra/Motorola scanner. Unfortunately, this scanner only seems to be able to read the most advanced and easy-to-read codes. If the code is black on gray, like the codes on the bottom of laptops, this device will ignore them entirely. Even when delivered, the trigger was completely separate from the body. Luckily, only 3 Phillips screws were required to open the device and reattach the trigger. Poor quality control to ship the scanner in this condition. I had to return the scanner to Revain for a refund. The inability to reliably scan 2D barcodes rendered this device unusable. You have to spend money for a real Motorola scanner.
