We first tried this meat thermometer on a roast pork that had been placed on the grill. It was 8 pounds and ready in less than 2 hours. It was cooked to perfection. The best part is that we could be inside and check the temperature by looking at it. When it went so fast we really thought it wasn't going to work. BOY, we were wrong, that's very accurate. A few days later we whipped the chicken and used the thermometer again, staying inside and watching the temp on the screen. Again, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It's very accurate, easy to use, not just on one thing, but on 4 things at once. I will be using this a lot for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend getting one and the thermometer would make a great Christmas present this year!
