If you've been looking for a way to project a Wi-Fi signal over a distance, this is for you. I've been looking for a wifi signal in our guesthouse for a year. Tried several wifi boosters and none worked. I landed on this nanostation while reading about something else. I've read reviews of people using this to capture Wi-Fi in their RVs, workshops, and other buildings outside their homes and if they've worked for them. I ordered a NanoStation and Ubiquiti airGateway-LR airMAX WISP 2.4GHz (a small router that connects to it). I'll tell you, the installation wasn't easy (I'm not a network person, so it was like trying to understand a foreign language). I researched and found written help and videos online that finally enabled me to get it set up and running. It's work! Since the successful installation 2 weeks ago, it has a strong and stable signal and we can even stream Netflix with no buffering issues. Be patient with your setup and keep trying. It's worth it if it picks up the signal and works. (The reason for only 4 stars is the complexity of the installation, not the performance of this unit.)
