I didn't find the installation as easy as many others but I don't have much experience with something like this. But the good news is, you don't have to do this beforehand to get it right. I wanted to save money and the prices to buy and install from dealers are exorbitant. I have a 2019 CRV EX. I used manuals from a Honda dealership which is easy to find online, a well known place to sell genuine Honda parts at a discount. I already had a push pin and Phillips screwdriver, but not a short one, so I bought one in HD along with an offset screwdriver based on suggestions in the reviews here on Revain. Came out about $6. Also, I wasn't sure how everyone did it, were they down? Crouch and kill knees and back? I decided to buy a step stool to sit on during installation. There are plenty of cheap ones, I bought one here at Revain that is wider than usual for about $13. So fender plus tool which is about $20 still gets me $200 less than what the dealer was going to buy and install, until now. Installation. Well I did it, I wouldn't say it was easy, but I certainly wouldn't call it difficult either. It's easy and straightforward once you have the instructions, but you'll have to figure out the best way to remove and insert the screws yourself. The outer ones were simple. My internal front panel screws were particularly tight and it took me a while to figure out how to loosen them in this incredibly tight space. You can twist, twist, twist in vain. For me, it was fairly light pressure and the occasional angle adjustment that eventually helped, but the tight location of that tricky screw meant progress was slow. One thing I would change if I did it again. I would use a pin to poke holes in the front end as he says. But then I would put screws in those holes to get a good start once you have the fender. I did it on the second front and it went much faster. The instructions on the back actually point you to that. Also, I found that using a pin about 3-4 times in each hole was very helpful in getting this screw to work. I can't recommend my step stool idea enough. I put mud flaps on the porch, I didn't want to sit on the floor, I didn't want to stoop uncomfortably God knows how much. So I just unfolded the folding ladder and sat right next to the car. This is a great height to work around your tires. I definitely felt a bit stiff after putting the fenders on, but I can't imagine how much worse my knees and back would feel without them. I highly recommend. Even though it wasn't as easy for me as for others, I would still do it again to save money. It took longer than I hoped but the fenders look great and are a very tight fit and the CRV looks like it just came out of the factory.
