My cockatiel never used it (that is, she sat, she was afraid to sit). I finally got him out of her cage. It was a nice idea, my bird just didn't care. In the future, I probably would not put such a toy together with a female bird. I didn't want her to take this as a breeding spectacle and she was beginning to have egg laying problems. It's probably fine for other male birds who like these cozy tents, but my parrot says no to that. She'd rather have a mountain of toys to grind than one just lying there for her to sit on. Once she gnawed the skin off, she was done.
