Good Price: Replacement Parts

My stock muffler started rattling internally so it could be repaired. It's hard to find a used one for this machine (Protege5) and I definitely didn't want a noisy aftermarket. Started looking and came across this one. I did some research to make sure it was a straight bolt and the company had good reviews. For the price it was hard to beat. I received it on time. It turned right after I bought new screws and gaskets. My screws were stripped and rusted to the point that I had to cut them off. It is as quiet as a standard silencer. The only problem I have is that it only came with the chrome tip to protect it (no box or any protection). It has a few small dents that you can definitely see, but the tip was no longer round. It ended up ringing to be seen. I've corrected it enough myself where you can't tell. If they had protected it a little more it would have been five stars.

Pros
  • Muffler
Cons
  • Low Repairability
