Review on Bilstein 24 139106 Front Shock Durango by Raul Fabijan

Huge improvement over the stock front shocks

FINALLY replaced the stock front shocks on our 2005 Hemi Durango. The new Bilsteins are stronger shock absorbers and fit perfectly. To install you also have to unscrew the stabilizer bar on each side to get the lower shock bolts out, which isn't a big deal. After riding them for a few weeks I feel they are significantly better than the OEM shocks. The biggest improvement was seen on unpaved and bumpy roads. The grips are remarkably smooth on rougher surfaces. I couldn't believe the difference. Replacing the stock shocks also helps almost eliminate the sideways bumps these Durangos cause when navigating speed bumps and the like. A worthy update that I would have loved to have made a few years ago.
