Review on RELIAN 75 Piece Double Pointed Bamboo Knitting Needles Set, 15 Sizes (2.0mm-10.0mm), 8 Inches Length + 4 Knitting Needles Point Protectors by Barbara Simmons

Received today. There are 15 needle sizes, but no 3mm or 7mm size. Now the loss of size 7 doesn't matter to me as I never use that size, I'm frustrated that there isn't a size 3mm. (Update: 2.75 was now widely used instead of 3mm needles, so not having size 3 needles is debatable lol.) This is the size I use all the time and really need in this set. I have no idea why they left it! If it wasn't for that missing set, this whole set would be perfect. All needles are stamped in wood with gauges and all needles are absolutely smooth with no splinters. A very good sentence. Another update. Used for knitting socks from worsted yarn. The needles are much easier to work with, the needles do not slip out of the loops as easily as when using aluminum needles. BUT my hands don't sweat and I'm pretty sure one of the needles I'm currently using got a kink in the middle of the needle. It's very good to look at and feel, but doesn't interfere at all with normal use. It just feels weird to use. None of the other needles of this size did this and it wasn't noticed on first use so I doubt it was at first. But I still love this set and am considering buying another set to have on hand. Update 09/03/2020: Regarding the "bending/bending" that the needles experience, this has happened to quite a few needles that I use. most frequently. This doesn't happen with sizes I don't use. So it tells me it must be the dampness of my fingers that is causing it. It is quite obvious that this wood does not happen without my touch and use for some time. I don't think it's bad wood or design, it will probably happen to them over time. Maybe there is a spray paint type wood sealer or even some mineral oil, ONLY mineral oil, no other that will seal the wood to keep it from happening to other unused needles. Mineral oil is clear and will not go rancid or discolour over time, it is edible, makes wood less sweat proof etc. These are just my thoughts now so don't blame anyone, if you decide to try it. Do you have any inquiries please? But I still love these needles and use them all the time with no issues during use. It just feels weird in your hand and your fingers may find they aren't quite straight.
