The gaskets that come with the kit are absolutely useless. They're either too thick or too thin, and are made of slippery hard plastic rather than softer rubber. This makes it easy to slide. You don't want slipping. You need a firm grip when things get tight. Luckily I had old rubber seals in my spare parts basket. After cropping, they worked perfectly. Now everything is nice and tight. One more thing: be careful when inserting a bar in two mounts as it scratches fairly easily. But once you install the accessory, you'll hardly notice it. Overall it is extremely stable and the length is perfect. I have two headlights plus a CatEye on-board computer connected to them and more space. It's functional and looks great on my bike. That's all I wanted. It could have been five stars, but I had to deduct one star for the lousy spacers.
