We started using ProCell batteries about 3.5 years ago and have found them to be the longest lasting and most reliable batteries we have used in the past. While ProCell batteries may not be the cheapest, we have learned the lesson that you get what you pay for and ProCells have always provided long term service for every electronic or other device we use them in, one of the key factors alongside that long life life is the phasing out of ProCell. When testing ProCell batteries, we often used any off-the-shelf battery, and in most cases it was a brand name battery. Name brand batteries never passed their expiry date and in many cases acid started leaking in the storage socket before we could use them or in the devices and I mean a few devices causing a very messy cleanup. The store's battery leak, the store's hallmark, even ate the paint off the top of one of my filing cabinets after they started leaking from a portable lamp I was sitting on. In 3.5 years of buying Procell batteries of different sizes, we have never had one. start to leak and they always offer longer life for whatever device we use them in.
