
I used this silicone mat in the fryer with our salmon last night and it came out beautiful. It still had a good crust and it was so easy to slip a spatula underneath to lift it without worrying about scratching the bottom of the basket. And a sponge and some soap, swish.done. I'll probably throw them in the dishwasher after a few uses just to make sure they're perfectly hygienic. But with no oil and almost instant rinsing (pulled out with tongs and washed once it cooled in minutes) it cleared up in one breath. We'll see how it works after a few uses, but I'm very optimistic! UPDATE: 10/16/21. Still in love with these things! Oils are not required. Use them at least 3-4 times a week. Just love light cleaning! I just came to say enough about these things!
