I have bought 5 or more meat thermometers in the last 2 years. I'm a home husband so an accurate thermometer is a must. This one is special because it has an easy-to-download "free" app that not only tracks your food, but also tells you what temperature it should be to be safe. Registering the product was also very easy. Just scan your code and you're done. I've only used it twice so far and I love it. Unlike most others, the cable isn't encased in plastic that will crack or melt over time. This metal and flexible cable will last for years. I will buy some of these as gifts as the chefs work in our family.
