Review on Aqua Lung Impulse Snorkel White by Ryan Brady

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not worth the cost in sport

I love a place where I can freedive in the sea all year round. The sea can sometimes be rough with waves. I have had an Impulse 1 tube for over twenty years and unfortunately it has finally failed. It wasn't the most attractive design, but it performed like a champ and kept the inside of the tube very dry. I could attach a flowing water hose to the top of the tube and very little water would get into the mouthpiece valve. Most if not all of the water is diverted and discharged at the base of the conical body. The Impulse 3 snorkel, while slim in design, pales in comparison to the Impulse 1, very little water is vented at the top of the snorkel and most of the water ends up in the mouthpiece and mouthpiece valve. I would not buy this phone again and would recommend it to anyone. Aqua Lung is worth going back and looking at the Impulse 1 design. Very disappointing.
