The best beginner player!

The Audio Technica LP60x is a fantastic player, especially for those looking to get into vinyl collecting and playing! For the price, you can't beat it because not only does it look great, it plays great sound too! The redesign gives it a much more modern/sleek look than its predecessor, with slight variations that combine to compare the turntable on a stand to $400 counterparts on the market. I love how easy it is to put the dust cover on or take it off depending on your preference. Build quality isn't the best as it's mostly plastic, but that doesn't detract from use or looks. The only downside might be the inability to swap out the cartridges, but for a beginner this won't matter as the standard cartridge works great and will last until you decide to upgrade if you so choose. Set up is extremely easy and straightforward, making it fantastic for beginners or anyone who loves convenience! You can control the turntable automatically or manually which is great as I like to throw the needle myself but have it reset automatically when the recording ends. I've tested the player with about 30 records, half old, half new, all playing fine! All in all you won't find a better turntable at this price point and that's a lot better than paying a little less for a turntable in a suitcase. If you have more experience or a higher budget the LP120 is the perfect option and you probably won't even need to upgrade, but Audio Technica is the way to go, I'm very happy with my Audio Technica.
