Excellent performance / TV replacement

I had this monitor not long ago so can't comment on durability but my first impressions of this monitor are great. I use a 21" TV with a 16:9 aspect ratio, but I've had a 45" flat screen TV before, and this monitor offers a very comfortable midrange when you want a big display but aren't bothered with the regular one would like. Terrible TV input lag. After months of research before settling on this display, my main concerns were that it would be uncomfortably large on my desk, and that text would be displayed due to the relatively low dpi (about the same as a 27-inch 1080p panel). would be difficult to read. . After using it, I can say that I didn't have any problems and I think that even the average user would be satisfied with this display. I believe a lot of the negative reviews of this monitor come from people who have previously used much higher resolution displays and are used to very high pixel densities. For the untrained eye and especially for someone like me who is already used to very large, low resolution screens; This monitor is the best monitor you can buy if you want large, ultra-wide monitors at a great price. Given the sheer size of this screen it's definitely not for everyone, probably a lot of people just won't fit on their desk, but for an occasion like mine where this monitor will serve as a TV in my bedroom it's absolutely perfect. . At the same time, I have two main complaints about this monitor, the first of which is the poor build quality. If you press even lightly on the edge where the screen meets the bezel, the bezel flexes slightly and doesn't feel like it will hold up well if something bumps into it. Second, there's no display port cable included and I wouldn't mind if it's a regular monitor, but given that you can't enable FreeSync or 75Hz refresh rate with an HDMI connection, then both cables should really have been included in the scope of delivery. Overall, if it lasts as long as I hope it will, I have to say that this is your best bet for an ultra-wide TV under $400.
