Review on Acer G246HL Abd 24" LED Monitor - 1920X1080, 60Hz, Tilt Adjustment by Jeremy Gancio

This monitor is a big improvement over the old 4:3 aspect ratio monitor I used for my computer, which is also my TV. As other reviewers have said, this monitor's default settings are far too bright. Changing settings is inconvenient. I finally figured it out and made notes because I probably won't remember next time I go there. Perhaps my comments below will help someone else. Settings for the Acer G246HL 24 inch monitor Key numbers used in these instructions: From left to right: 1 2 3 4 5 On/Off. Step including exit Button 3 - Launch OSD menu, activate highlighted item Button 4 - Move up Button 5 - Move down Brightness adjustment example Press Button 3 - Press three times Functions right Function 1) Image (highlighted) Function 2) OSD Timeout function 3) Setting function 4) Information 3. Press - activates the picture function. Press key 5 - scroll down to "Brightness". Press button 3 - activates the brightness control. Dim brightness Press button 2 - back and exit By default, the OSD will turn off after 10 seconds. I increased it to the maximum, 2 minutes. You can exit the OSD menu at any time with the 2 key.
