Review on 🏞️ Enhance Stability on-the-go with Benro Adventure 3 Series Carbon Fiber Monopod (MAD38C) by Danny Crowder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not suitable for outdoor use in salty environment/locations

I have had a Benro Adventure 3 Series carbon fiber tripod with B3 ball head (TAD38CB3) for 3 weeks. Overall quality is as advertised. Vibration dampening leaves a lot to be desired. I've been using it alongside sea water for the past three days. But even after rinsing with fresh water and drying, the leg clips start to deteriorate. Benro uses low quality aluminum for the foot clips. Such aluminum breaks down into powder in a salty environment. See image for a close-up of the foot clip. The powder is aluminum oxide, a by-product of low-grade aluminum coming into contact with salt water. You will also see rust on the ferrous metal part. I expect the tripod to last 3 months at this rate. i give it back
