In general, I first bought an ASUS RT-AC1200G PLUS router. And I decided to try out the new Wi-Fi standard, I bought this Wi-Fi module in a computer. On a 5 hertz (AC) connection through 2 concrete walls with closed doors, it gives a connection speed of 101.8-110 Mbps. According to the speed test (speedtest), it gave 89 for downloading 78 for uploading with a ping of 2, while the download speed in a torrent is 8-10 mb per second (the provider has a 100 mb rate). Next to the router (in the same room), the connection speed gives out 500 Mbps and higher, the maximum I saw was 840. At the same time, the download speed in the torrent is 9-11 mb per second (in the speedtest, the speed is 95 download 89 return) Now about the main thing, why I indicated the name of my router. It was not possible to test 2.4 hertz, because even according to reviews, mode 2.4 on this router is extremely unstable and crooked (bought to work at 5 hertz). So how the 2.4 mode works on this module, unfortunately I can’t say. As for the drivers, I initially downloaded them from the asus website and on windows 7 x64 pro (licensed) everything started up without dancing with a tambourine and even without rebooting. The connection keeps quite stable, does not fall off. If you buy this module for connecting to 5 hertz in A / AC modes, then I will recommend it, there are no complaints. Other than that I can't say anything.
