- 5 stars for features and support - 4 stars for video quality This is the only Composite -> HDMI converter I've found that properly supports 4:3 output - perfect for our old game consoles. Everything else stretches the output to 16:9. Video quality is okay, with lots of whites and blacks, but I don't think I'll see anything better in this price range. It really helped and I had to contact the seller to find out how to switch it from 16:9 mode. I got a quick, helpful reply and finally figured it out: - Press and release the button on the side of the box to toggle between 60hz/1080p, 50Hz/1080p, 60Hz 720p, 50Hz 720p - press and hold the button (about 3 seconds) to display the current aspect ratio on the screen - while the aspect ratio is still displayed, press and hold again to toggle to the next mode (several scaling options are included in addition to 4:3)
