Bought to connect a Wii for kids. I have a new Samsung 9000 series TV and it doesn't have the AV connections that the Wii needs so I bought it. During the game the screen goes black all the time. Try playing Mario Kart with the screen turning on and off every few seconds. It doesn't interest me and the kids at all.

Bought this for my son's TV. The mother in law gave us her old VHS player and some Disney VHS tapes to play. With the newer Smart TVs, it was not possible to connect a VCR to the TV. It made it possible! Now my 6 year old is reliving my childhood memories by watching old video tapes. Always remember to rewind before returning! ;)

This product is ideal for those who want to use it with their gaming system or projector. I use it with my Elgato and it helps a lot when I want to record gameplay from my gaming systems! Be careful because they sell 2 versions of this product and if you get the one with HDMI-RCA it will not work with Elgato or the game system, so be careful and be careful!

This arrived and did exactly what was advertised. I recently bought a DVD player without an HDMI port. I couldn't connect an RCA and had to buy this device in addition to the DVD device. It worked great. I have an old Vizio TV with only two HDMI access points and will add another box that will add three additional access points. It's cheaper than buying a new TV. The description of this item suggests that it converts composite video to HD. You can only convert composite video to HDMI in the sense that you can connect a composite-only device to the HDMI port on a newer flat screen TV. The video doesn't get any better at all.
