Review on 🔧 Bosch T3915SC SDS Plus Speedcore Thin Wall: High-performance Solution for Precise Drilling by Matthew Allen

Bought this and a 1-3/16 rotary bit to cut a hole in a concrete wall. Worked great except for one big issue - the set screw design is TERRIBLE. Two reasons - both most important. Main reason #1 is that the set screw is not countersunk and that was the only reason I couldn't drill deeper into the wall. The second reason is that the design of the set screw was not suitable for a drill with a hammer drill, and this is so. It continued to loosen and eventually fell off despite being tightened every 10 seconds of drilling! I replaced the set screw with a metric hex screw. This solved the interference problem and could be used for deeper drilling but still required tightening every 10 seconds or so. I plan to try some kind of mount (not permanent of course) and see if it holds the set screw in place. If yes, then I will like the tool.
