This is a good quality stencil set and overall I am happy with it. They are a good set for wood screen printing. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were a few letters in the set that I didn't like. A capital "I" looks like a "J". I ended up using lower case letters for the other 6 plates. See photos. The small "r" is so narrow and the dividing lines are so thin that it looks like a drop. I had to keep sanding and repainting it until it was barely satisfactory. Aside from those two letters, the rest is fine. You must use a sponge brush to apply the paint or it will bleed under the stencil. You also need to press each letter firmly against the board while rubbing the stencil with a sponge, otherwise it will smudge and fall under the thin dividing lines. These are good stencils and I would recommend them. They arrived quickly and worked great after I developed a better protocol. Good value for money!
