Review on Honeywell HRF AP1 Universal Replacement Pre Filter by Drew Beckett

I was expecting an accurate filter replacement that came with my Honeywell HPA200 True HEPA Allergen Eliminator. This product is a filter media that needs to be cut to the right size for your machine. However, I was able to cut it into 4 replacement filters. The filter material is not as thick as the original filter. It's not as rigid as the original so it will tip over when you try to install it. It also has some fairly thin areas that I don't think would filter out dust particles very effectively. If you don't have a good pre-filter, the HEPA filter may fail sooner than expected. These filters are probably fine, but I'll look for something more permanent next time I need filters.
