Somehow my daughter left something on the marble slab in the bathroom, kinda melted and when I cleaned it left a black spot on the stone. I've tried everything: bleach, wet sanding, magic eraser, bartender's friend. I decided to try this product because I decided I had nothing to lose for the low price. I applied it as directed and covered it with clear sheeting and taped it around the perimeter to prevent further damage to the stone. After about 24 hours I removed the tape and foil, peeled off the envelope and to my surprise the stain was gone! I was so pumped up I didn't have to go to a stone company to fix it. I'm not saying this will solve all problems as I've only used it on one type of stone (Carrara marble) and one type of stain, but it has worked brilliantly for me.
