The retaining clips are BS making this pretty much useless though.
As everyone here complains, the brackets that secure the unit are too high to hold the console. another clip fell out of the back of the dashboard during installation). After doing it it seems solid, but why would I change a brand new product? Not sure how/why Rugged Ridge is shipping these things without fixing the clip issue. Simply copy the manufacturer clip and send it in with new devices. The phone holder actually keeps my phone in order once in place. If it's not attached properly, it will come loose. Overall a nice looking unit but the jeep needs more functionality than mods so 3 stars. Do not buy if you don't agree with the change of clips. I have a Jeep JK08.
