I enjoyed this apple slicer for about 3 months. Granny Smith medium sized. Once the blades fell out from under the floor. I didn't see any damage and they went right back into place so I'm guessing it was for cleaning. A few weeks later when trying to cut another one I started pushing down and the blade knot broke right through causing me 2 small cuts on one arm! (Stupid, tips of the blades, not sharp!) Liked one piece so far, but. back to shopping.
